Raising BTO prices to discourage ppl from selling after 5 years MOP is just flawed thinking. I think it's more to increase HDB's profits.

If they truly want to prevent ppl flipping properties, just increase the MOP to 10 years. BTO is meant to be affordable housing, punishing the masses who want to stay long term just because of those speculators is just poor policy-making. Higher BTO prices will also lead to higher resale prices

Yeah. Would make mop 10 years n urgent selling case by case. Because these "investors" want to sell after 5 years, their flats are very poorly maintained.

Was quite excited about the punggol BTO, now currently still deciding due to the long wait and also the not so ideal location of the 4room units.

Seems like 3Gen/5Room will have a better unit choice.

Is there any way of seeing how much a mid floor 5 room punggol will cost?

Is there any balcony for 5 room flat facing the sea (Punggol Point Cove)? I only see balcony for some 3 and 4 room flats in Punggol Point woods and there's no indication of balcony in Punggol Point Cove.

It would be nice to have a balcony with sea view.

Thinking of applying. I like the seaview but scare of the air from Pasir Gudang. Wonder will it create any health problem in the long run.

Sad to say architect nv maximise frontage for cove. What's the point of seaview w/o balcony??? Dumb!
