Hi pros,

Recently com not booting, need some help in determining the problem! Recently installed a m.2 after cloning it. My com has a buzzer, normally there will be a single beep before booting.

Specs
A) CPU: 4690k
B) MB: Asus you itx
C) gpu: giga 970 G1
D) psu: SF600
E) SSD: 120gb Kingston --> 960 Evo m.2 500gb
F) case: ncase m1

What I have done
1) clone sata SSD to m.2 SSD using macrium
2) removed sata SSD and set boot drive as m.2
3) com was perfectly fine for the past few days
4) suddenly blue screen "your computer has an issue (sad face)"
5) after restart com has no beep sound and no display. Keyboard and mouse not powering up as well. However all fans are spinning
6) tried removing ram 1 by 1
7) remove gpu and used igpu instead

Com still doesn't boot up after step 5 & 6. Is it my CPU up lorry?

TIA

You can try booting with only one stick of RAM after cleaning the gold contacts and resetting the BIOS settings to default. There is a jumper on the MB for that.

Try booting without your SSD and HDD, and if it can then proceed on with a bios reset

Already tried the ram 1 by 1 but never use eraser. Will try the jumper tonight.

I tried the following all the same
1) m.2 only
2) m.2 & SSD
3) SSD only
4) without both drives
5) also tried removing power cable and pressing power button for 20s (from Google)

All same result no beep no display

Do check the memory capacity is same as what you physically installed.

Yes. Still the same.

Nevertheless, I have performed a clean install of win 10.

But now internet speed is very slow, connect via wired. Speed test showing avg 9Mbps only. Tested with another computer no issue so cable is fine. I suspect drivers but I have downloaded from asus website and install already.

Any ideas?

Mobo : Asus z97i plus

Delete driver and restart to let Windows auto install the driver. Do a speedtest.

Did you turn on any Qos ?
Try disable any QoS.
It could be also some DSCP value.

This is a very good article to read.
