Alright, it is update time and there are two updates. The carpenter worked on the remaining cabinets, the kitchen sink, hood and hobs are installed. He also installed the dish rack cabinet door with Blum HL hinges, and it slide upwards nicely.

Then the Electrician came to complete the electrical works. There are 2 PIR sensors warm white LED strips on both top and bottom cabinets. When a person comes close, the LED will light up to provide lighting. I will also add 2 natural white worklights under the top cabinets, but these are not mounted yet. The automatic laundry rack is mounted and I got it tested. Finally the Lian Hin "winter" table top is mounted and installed after all the switches and sockets were tested, don't you just love the design and layout.

What about the living room RGB/warm white cove lights and sliding door?
How do u plan your house lighting?
Want to get some opinion and idea.
Do u have any picture for reference?
Its Friday and there is new update in videos. So what do I have show, well its the dish rack cabinet with Blum HL hinge door, the cabinet PIR backlights and work lights with touch sensor!
The width of the dish rack cabinet is 890mm and the door is rather large. However, the HL hinge make it quite easy to open and slide upwards. It could hold its half open position and remain stationary. The door slide upwards and almost reaches to the ceiling, so the whole rack can be access easily without the door protruding outwards.
Next is the PIR sensors, when the person is within range, the sensors will activate and the backlights will light up for a duration (can be adjusted) and then turn off. The work lights are touch activated and provide general natural white lightings to the table top.
Want to see more, stay on for the next update....
The touch activated lights are ready made plug and play, just connect it to 12V transformer and it will work. See the three gang switches on the right, these are the transformers switches for the cabinet backlight, work light and hood.Very nice.I like the touch activated lights. Its wired or just plug and play?Wonder if i can do that still.
The hinges do u know the cost? After a while i find the push up is more feasible then the current pull open door.

Blum HL was already factored in the cabinets cost, maybe can just contact Blum to ask them.
