hey guys. what's a good diver that I can buy new/used under $3k?

I'm currently looking at rado captain cook, oris sixty-five and tudor black bay 58.

love the black bay but didn't want to get it because I just got a black bay 36mm and its a little out of budget.

I have small wrist 6 1/4 inch and would prefer 38mm size the most. 40mm is the max i will go.

Are you intending to max out budget? I don't really fancy the Captain Cook actually.. There's something off about the design. The 65 and Black Bay 58 are of course great options, though isn't the Black Bay out of your budget for now? Or have I remembered the pricing wrongly. In any case, 58 should be overpriced for a while locally.. Not a good time to buy.

Other than the Oris, you can also consider higher end Seikos like the MM300.. Second hand old Omega Seamaster Pro, Sinn U1, Longines Legend Diver, some Aquadives.

Or you could get a number of microbrand/mid-range Seikos mixed. :s13:

It’s best to try it one, dial size is not a accurate guide you have to consider lug. Check this out
