JustAnET, this model PT593V has been discontinued and no longer in production since 2015.

Unless you purchased a used set from someone who has been using it since 2015. Whereabout did you purchased this from ?

unable to reconnect cameras

hey guys, I'm using 5 sineoji ip cameras for my home.
recently due to upgrade to fiber broadband and changed my old router to the new velop, i'm having issues reconnecting my cameras.

i have followed the video tutorial closely, but still no success.
i have also changed the velop to broadcast 2.4 separately. my mobile phone is connected to the 2.4 network. so far i've only managed to reconnect the one in my living room.

sadly, all the others just refuse to appear in the sineoji app via one key setting. even after refreshing non stop, nothing appears.

contacted dean via whatsapp, but still no respond.

anyone have similar situation and managed to solve?
the buzzing alarm is really scaring the kids when i'm trying to configure the ip cams

WiFi mesh to link up with your cameras is quite tedious. You can follow this tutorial guide where Dean whatapp me before when I upgraded my broadband to WiFi mesh.

Velop

Connect Lan cable to your cam from your mesh router
Click +
Lan search
Note down the IP address shown on the search results. 192.168.x.x
Go to you pc chrome Web browser
Enter the IP address you copied in the address bar, 192.168.x.x:8081
Login, admin , admin
Choose 1st option
Go to settings bottom right (gear icon)
Go to wireless on the right menu
Search WiFi
Select your WiFi
Enter WiFi password
Re-enter your WiFi password
Click check button
Until it says success, then click apply
Power off the cam
Remove Lan cable from cam
Power on the cam.
Click +
Scan QR code or scan ID
Enter password as admin
Click save.

Thanks! The steps work for all my cameras now!
Anyone upgrade to velop, can try this method. Just a bit more step than usual, but it’s great after setting all up

Hi guys,

I am looking for a surveillance camera for my new house, main purpose is to monitor our puppy at home while we are outside working. Any recommendation that is below the budget of say $150?

Thanks!

Sineoji PT716V $129 wide view.

You can see more at Sineoji Facebook. Currently using 4 sineoji cameras and I am pleased with it.

For low budget to monitor baby and maid, worth to get PT498V ($79)? Or Yi camera instead? Any recommendation?
