The kitchen cabinets overview video shows the rotation from the windows. You can see the washing machine and the full height cabinets where there is storage for mops, detergents etc.=:p

Bonus pic again!

Yes, HL is just a little more than HK. It looks cleaner, might as well take HL. Oh, the cabinet inside are wood grain colour PVC, so the internal cabinets has the same color as the laminates too. There are more photos of the cabinets if requested

Problem is i already hv the hk.Hopefully the mounts on the door side is the same.If not need to do new holes which i dont want.
Same color but not same laminate right? My entire hse only give one type of internal colored laminate. But it is nice.So no complains.Only regard to have made my dishrack door black. Can see stain marks and fingerprints.

There are wood putty to cover over the holes, possible to change the hinges without leaving holes behind. When the Electrician was making the worklights, he drilled a 2cm hole in the cabinet to run the wires, and causes a small laminate about 1 cm size to chip off. I then covered it with wood putty, and the laminates looks like the same before.

The long awaited update on the Alexa voice command RGB and warm white cove light is ready. The LED controller uses an app Magic home which can control the LED with smartphone. The app enables Alexa to detect LED controller in Smart home skills.

Once all set up, Alexa can change the LED controller by voice command using wifi. There are small green lights, which are from the LED transformers.

So cool and cozy ambience, stay on for future updates!

It had been a few weeks since the last update and I have moved in. Done some touch up and bought some furniture.

Next, av receiver for the home theater setup wtih the Xiaomi Wemax projector. I got Sony DH-790 7.2ch Dolby Atmos receiver. Going to setup 5.1.2 home theater with 7 exciters not speakers. The exciters are here and I will be using wooden panels for the sound. Let see how this goes!

I got the idea of exciters from watching this on YouTube. He shows construction of flat panel speakers using exciters.

Feel free to ask questions.

Yes. The default HDB kitchen bathroom has the wash basin outside the toilet, however I wanted to place a mirror cabinet, countertop basin, countertop, wash stand cabinets within the bathroom. So an excellent layout design and maximizing the available space are crucial.

The art of design and practicality can go hand in hand. There are two possible layout designs.

or

You noticed that I had the toilet WC rotated 90d. If the WC is against the wall, the space is too small for either rainshower or washbasin. :s42:

I decided on option 2. The rainshower and water heater requires a larger space instead of the washbasin, of course, this is my opinion.

This is the MBR bathroom. The placement of the washbasin and rainshower are changed, this is a better layout design than the default HDB toilet placement.

The renovation of the bathrooms will start in Feb. :)

Thx for the reply! R u going to do wet&dry separation for MBR toilet? I have the same idea as u, but I'm not sure whether to install glass walls for separation between showering area, sink and toilet bowl :s13:

Had been busy with work past few weeks but I managed to get some parts done. The wooden plywood are cut with laser machine and curved to remove harmonices. 4x Extruded foams are cut with foam cutter, the dimensions are 60x30cm, edge rounded at 10cm. The longer piece is for the center speakers, 98x30cm, edge rounded at 10cm.

Next was the spacers, I used wood and acrylic to make them. The total thickness is 3.0cm, so the exciters can be glued on the panel surface and the panel will be mounted on the spacers.

Then the exciters will be attached and the panels mounted on the wall but that's for another day. =:p

Alright the update of the flat panel exciters are here. With Dolby Atmos receiver, front surround, top and rear surround, the sound effects are spread all around and phenomenal.

The exciters are position with a 3/5 and 2/5 rule and diagonally. I found the double sided tape on the exciter's coil will tend to peel off after a week or so, therefore I removed the tape and glue with UHU general adhesive. This will fix the peeling issue and prevent it from dropping. The impedance of the exciter is 4 ohm, so I had the exciters in series to get 8 ohm total impedance. The panels are mounted on the spacers with adhesive velcro tape, so it can be removed without damaging the panels.

The front surround are wired with 2 panels on each side, each panel has two exciters. The center is the 98cm width panel

Top panels are fixed into the ceiling by washers and screws.

Rear surround panels (extruded foam) are fixed with adhesive velcro tape.

Enjoying the movies with realistic sound effects and cinema quality, my own cinema theatre. :s12::D
