Went to check out Tech show at Suntec earlier. Think there are quite decent deals compared to Comex. More notably there are laptops with the refreshed 8265 and 8565 processors, which brings 10gbps usb-c to the mainstream. As a consequence they are also clearing stock of older 8250 and 8550 processors.

Some noteworthy offers:
- Acer spin 5 for less than 1155 (didn't ask the exact price), 8gb 512gb
- Acer swift 3 sf314-54 i5 8gb 256gb at 930+ (might be able to haggle even further?)
- Dell XPS 13 9370 8gb 256gb 1788
- Acer swift 3 premium from 1498, 8gb 512gb with usb-c type c gen 2 supporting DP and power delivery
- Lenovo yoga s730 (brand new model, note this is the successor to IdeaPad 720s and is not convertible) - 16gb 512gb i7 processor with 2 thunderbolt ports and 1 type c. I think this is the best deal for 1799 if you want thunderbolt 3

Am glad to see that 512gb models are finally becoming mainstream... Unless u buy apple of course

If you don't need built in dedicated graphics I think quite good leh. I'm using the Lenovo 720s which I got for 1450 only, almost same as the s730 just that the thunderbolt is crippled to two lanes. No complaints so far, except my unit the backslash key was a bit unresponsive. Lenovo service came down to replace keyboard and everything ok let.
