I have probably 18k+ photos on Flickr. Now with 1k limit I have to depend on Google photos

I am mainly using Google photos but I also use the free Flickr as well. I am not going to pay so probably need to start delete the photos and remove the account.

I can understand their move too — it simply does not make business sense to have the 1TB free tier.

I do not see any good free alternatives to Google Photos now that Flickr will be gone.

Paid alternatives are Microsoft One Drive, Apple iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.

Flickr Pro is actually not too bad at US$4.17 per month for the annual plan.

Apple iCloud: Singapore (SGD) per month
50GB: S$ 1.28
200GB: S$ 3.98 (Family sharing)
2TB: S$ 12.98 (Family sharing)

Google Drive
100 GB 2.79 SGD / month
200 GB 3.99 SGD / month
2 TB 13.99 SGD / month

Microsoft OneDrive Storagebonly plan
50GB: S$3 per month

Microsoft 1TB One Drive with Office 365 Personal:S$108 per year or S$10.80 per month

Microsoft 1TB One Drive with Office 365 Home S$148 per year or S$14.80 per month (family sharing up to 5 people, 1TB x5)

I have recently migrated to Cloudinary for my online image storage needs.

(It has pretty advance api / image upload and transformation features) that I plan to use with a ghost.org blog.

My referral link (if you don't mind) : https://cloudinary.com/invites/lpov9zyyucivvxsnalc5/hk0ugzni3zaat8q1r0gn

Flickr is good, but with them changing their policies and price plans so frequently, it's really risky to go with them. Who know what will happen in the future, and whether they will charge an even higher price.

Totally... Noticed that they've been quite "unstable" for a while... Really don't know what is their direction.

For now I am relying on Google photos. I will power up my NAS again and the external USB hard drives as well.
