From the plan, 2 room and to some extent 4 room flats seem to have the best location in terms of proximity to the future MRT and farming area. 5 room are mostly out of the way haizzz

Tambis,

No need to compare space or anything. If you check the history of ALL and the MILLIONS and MILLIONS of HDB homes, the lay out are all the same. :s13:

P.S does prison cells have different shapes? :D

Different things matters differently to different people.
I think the layout matters though it still depends heavily on the ballot number.

Is just beside the MRT!

They probably will link the JRL to other main lines to the east instead of 1 just the red line at Jurong and CCK. Sure will have more lines after that to connect better.

Just wondering why got ppl said only 4room have balcony, 5 room don’t have. Is depends on your q number see whether got chance to choose balcony unit not

From ura circular last month
"Each balcony is to have a minimum width of 1.5 metres as measured from the external building wall to enable it to function as a meaningful outdoor space."

Obviously the balcony width is less than 1.5m. Different sets of ideal by hdb and ura? Or we should see after Jan 2019?

Quite a few 5 rooms are along bukit batok road. Cons are noise and dust, pros are near to existing bus stop, and 2 supermarkets right across the road

Difference in area for balcony or no balcony is only 3sqm. So if the width is 1.5m,length only 2m. slightly longer than an average person's height I guess.

3sqm is a lot actually. Try getting a 3sqm by 2m height cupboard and you will see how much space of stuff you can put in.
