pre-ordered.

Hope it wouldn't turn out to be a disappointment like Andromeda and Star War battlefront. :(

From what I see, be prepared to be disappointed. Fancy pew pew is fine and dandy but without a coherent rich start to end story (Story is announced to be split into dlcs, a warning sign already even if free), it's just too shallow.

Also the content focused on multiplayer, the main battles are designed for multiple players. Solo player need to grind a bit more to pass those hurdles...

granted this was last year. and no other information since. but also expect to be always online even for SP. just like Division and Destiny

the only thing so far that we know will not be soloable are Strongholds which are end-game dungeons. much like Destiny's raids.

latest from June this year. Mike Gamble (lead producer)

Mike Gamble: There's an amazing cast of characters in this game. Tarsis is a place that is yours where you can make choices and see consequences. You can play the story of the game solo. There's an incredible world to explore and it is full of lore. It is full of things you will want to learn about - where the Scars came from, what the Dominion from the North is. It's not just in any shape or form you with a gun just flying around shooting things. It's a whole package. For players who want this to be a traditional BioWare game, that is part of the game. It is different - it's not a single-player linear game, and yes there are no romances or active companions flying with you, but there's all the other things which weave into the DNA of what makes a BioWare game. In addition to amazing combat, amazing mobility, a cool open world.

having the above, i believe the game won't be like other Bioware games where everything is spoonfed to the player. an element of discovery is woven into the story (which may stretch across several DLCs).

Bioware may even take the slow approach to such game / story discoveries like what Frontier did with the Thargoid reveal (which took months) or like how NMS did with their 2 ARG events.

is this game a continuation of mass effect, and from the makers of division and destiny 2? when will it be out?

how is the storyline, continuing with commander shepherd and talia?
