Vinaphone tourist sim is around 300k vnd comes with 8 GB data (in up to 4G/LTE), 80 local minutes, 80 SMS and 50 overseas minutes

Viettel you can get a basic sim for 50K vnd and then activate the add-ons according to your liking
At airports they also sell bundle for 100k to 200k vnd which comes with data, local mins, sms and overseas mins

Exchange rate this week is
16950 to 17000 max

Just came back from hanoi last Sunday

In fact last weekend the rate was 16900 in most money changers in Hanoi
Some even lower at 16850

Is tap water drinkable in HCM? Or should buy bottle to be safe?
Please boil the tap water before drinking

To be extra safe, drop 1 of those purifying tablets

Otherwise just consume from bottled drinking water... And boil water directly poured from Bottled water

It's quite easy to buy drinking water in HCMC which comes in huge bottles like 3L or 5L or 6L from Circle K or supermarket

Better not ... generally not a good practice to do that , my personal opinion ...
always consume bottled water ... or boil water ...

there is co-op mart at d1 or other smaller marts where you can purchase your bottle drinks ... if u worry not enough, can purchase those 5 litres, thought will be heavy ...

Grab easy to get? Grabpay or cash better ?
If your grab account is Platinum level then you can use credit card safely... cuz you will be assigned to 5-star or 4.5 star grab drivers 90% of the time.

I don't use grabpay. It's either credit card or cash
