just wondering.

any advantages from buying watches from boutiques instead of the usual ADs?

boutiques rarely give discounts, makes sense to go to ADs instead whom usually give a certain % of discount.

so what benefits are there purchasing from boutiques?

are their stocks "newer"? is it easier to approach those boutiques in an event if yr watch needs waranty servicing since its a direct purchase?

depends - rolex does not have a boutique... these are collaborations with AD. IWC, AP - yes they have a boutique. If you have a more esteemed service and brand specific free memorabilia such as accessories, then boutique is the way to go. No such nonsense such as newer stock.... boutique specific designs, yes.

For IWC, you can buy it from anywhere and still bring it back to boutique for servicing.

Wow. This green Beret looks better. Does anyone here own a ball watch? Better to buy online or from vincent watch?

I have a chronometer red label from vincent watch. Not sure about the online experience for ball.

Still not owned by rolex.
It's by Cortina or hourglass.

AP boutique on the other hand is owned by AP themselves.
Their staff are all AP Singapore staff.

Singapore doesn't have a patek owned boutique yet too iirc

Received them in the post and swapped in the Shell straps from Nightawl. Fantastic!

hi all, im in HK now and thinking of getting a luxury watch .. not sure if cheaper than SG, ive read that it is cheaper in SG.

thinking of mid-tier Breitling or entry level Panerai. been told that an IWC holds its value better.

can anyone assist on this? thank you!
