Don't think so. Based on previous CD, kNN already stated cannot TM to get special moves

Last few hours to evolve for good movesets

Meteor Mash Metagross is a must

But everyone say smack down plus stone age makes tyra the best rock type

However what is rock type good for ?

Against fire ?

In the current game meta like bite/crunch tyra more useful for gymming and raiding leh

rock good against fire n flying. back then when there are legenary birds n when they come back.. golem n smackdown tyra is hot thing.

also becos tyra has damage n has bulk. in most cases. if got damage then no bulk vice versa.

rampados (gen4 nt release yet ) will out damage tyra. but. is glass canon.

I believe there will be another chance where they will offer this moveset so just evolve 3 Lavitar and 3 shiny Beldum.

Anyway, this is the 2nd time they had offered this special moveset so shouldn't be the last.

Cannot compare like that.

Sure, raw DPS without taking into account type effectiveness, smackdown+stoneedge is the best moveset for Tyranitar, but bite+crunch has its niche against pokemon weak to dark type attacks, like psychic and ghost types.

So it is good to have both moves.
