Hi! Once I have selected my modules for the term, does it mean I will confirm get those modules? Or is it only reserved after I pay?

I paid for 15 CU - 3 modules.

There's no reservation. It's 1st come 1st serve basis. U will get the modules u paid for.

If u dun pay by 22 dec, your slot goes to those on waiting list

yea,for first semestr students, their academic status is empty so its first come first serve.there got put real-time quota also, you see what u get. After that, its not first come first serve already from 2nd sem onwards

that one not too sure. suss admin never really gave a detailed explanation..probably due to ur module ranking preferences, "resit" preferences and whether u clear ur current semester's modules, whether the modules is from ur course or other course. All these (not the exhaustive list) plays a part and suss work in a different way as compared to poly.. you pick modules BEFORE EXAM.. and usually i think 2 days after results, u get ur "course offer" where they will tell u which modules are offered to you. From there, you do your add/drop modules thingy

suss page got put before,on average, most ppl graduate around 4 to 4.5 years which mean most ppl take 3 modules per sem.. so if ur degree is basic degree, u take 3 per sem and pass all the way, 4 years lo.

There are ppl who take 20cu (4 modules) also and pass all the way, and there are ppl tat take 20cu every sem but fail 1 or 2,end up only cleared 2 modules. so first sem better test water abit.

For the ucore, u all are the first batch to take this whole new curriculum and including those who have not cleared their current 10cu ucore yet
