most of the "cheap" APSC zoom lens are F4 only
at least for the ones i use now
10-18
18-105
70-200
so yea it gets harder to shoot at night

the "cheap" sony primes can stop to F1.8
but damn it makes the canon nifty fifty look really dirt cheap albeit plastic built

Is it a good deal if one could get a first-hand A6000 with its 16-55mm lens kit at $720?

Yup, the official price by the Sony Days promo is $799. You should be able to get a better price by asking some of the reputable camera shops out there.

Congrats. So what’s the damage?
I see you have quite a few addons like the charger
Were they “FOC” bundle?

I use the "Samurai" brand of dry cabinet (buy from Qoo10, with local warranty). Previously was using DigiCabi.

Samurai is much cheaper when you compare the same size, and electronic humidity control to DigiCabi.

Singapore definitely must get dry cabinet. My DSLR got mold behind the LCD screen. Unbelievable

You might not want to get the 16-50 kit lens. Waste of time. It's just so bad. I got the A6300, with the Sigma 16mm, Sigma 30mm and kit 18-135mm. Dream set on a budget. Spent $2500 on everything. Could have been lower if I got the camera and kit lens second hand.

I'm thinking of getting a A6500 body and a 17-50mm f2.8 lens to go with it. Would this be a good combination? I don't wanna lug around multiple prime lenses
