United going to appointed a football director and in charge of buying players.

While the new manager are only to train and plan the game plans. No say in which players he wanted. If I am not wrong.

the day Zidane announce leaving the RM job. Ed already regret his decision of extending the contract.
almost immediately we hear talks of Jose's recruitment getting undermined.

Then recontract Smalling and Martial.

Ed logic.

If our iconic Eric Cantona was around for Jose to manage, likely will be made to fail badly and criticised by Moaningho.

I hope e new manager will bring the best out of Pogba.

sorry, missed out on the online celebrations, too busy celebrating outside heh!

I was thinking, was there a DoF when Moyes and van Gaal around? if there isn't and if it was that important, don't any of you think the manager has right to request for a DoF for him to work with?

and whats with the sudden need to sell Pogba? a while ago people were raging that Pogba was dropped. same situation with Martial, pre-season ask to leave now people singing praises. huh?

I don’t have a problem with Valencia and Young, I just don’t reallt believe they should be in the first 11 week in and week out.

Smalling on the other hand..,

Not sure if Zidane is the right man for the job. When he took over at Real Madrid, they were already a very good team with many superstars. But for MU it's a very different situation. Basically he will need to start from scratch here.

Smalling is extended largely because he is English.

But honestly, out of the current lot, Chris Mike is still one of the better lads.

If P Jones get extended, really can go bang wall

Don’t think Zizou will fancy the job here.

Ed is basically another Perez. So don’t think he will jump in a sh*thole now.

if u get proper backing. starting from scratch is not an issue.

mgrs will stay away knowing they gonna get undermined by someone who knows fk all about football.

There's always going to be uncertainty when hiring new managers. Whether they can adapt to the players, whether the players can adapt to his managerial style, tactics, coaching etc. Most importantly is to see progress. It's easy to see any improvements being a sign of progress especially when the team is almost at rock bottom now.

Start small, maybe with a clean sheet first, more than 50% possession, more than 10 shots taken in our next match etc. We can't do much worse than the Pool match.

u point out the exact problem of having an interim boss DURING transfer window.
im sure these will be in Ed's mind as well, so will he be fully committed to chase targets for interim boss? :s13:

what ed have to buy is buy those players that suit club playing style. how man utd always play. Man utd just have to appoint attacking manager to manage the players. not like now..moyes buy what he wants..lvg buy what he wants..jm buy what he wants..the team now become rojak..

"Accountants didn’t do their job with a Mourinho hire. You don’t hire Jose to be a coach and coddle players. The man is a goddamn general. All you are to do as the board is sign the checks. You don’t micromanage managers like Jose Mourinho.

This type of meddling from management is why Zidane left Madrid. Why in God’s name would he sign with us?"
