Any recommendation for external HDD?

2.5 inch or 3.5 inch? Capacity? Budget?

FYI I saw Digital Style Jurong Point got 30% clearance offer for the 3.5 inch external HDD (Seagate and WD). I think they are going to close shop soon as they are part of Newstead.

I myself have the 4TB Version external HDD, one from Seagate and one from WD for backup usage. Both are okay so far.

Previously I used WD only and still have a few WD external 1TB HDDs (kind of Read Only mode) and a 3TB WD personal NAS.

I got 2x 1TB Touro... lasted me few years already.

I owned a Touro and transcend storejet 25h3, both 1TB and USB3.0. I find that transcend speed is better than Touro.

How you guy find?

Yes, it is reliable. My for 4 years, still going strong.

Nowadays, HD are mostly good. Your luck matters more than the brand.
