even out of warranty?Just to update, I was given a replacement set for free because of the bloated battery.
I replaced my battery at 93% at no charge during my last month of warranty. No need below X%.

If anyone is changing their battery. Please don't go to Tampines Gamemartz phone repair shop.
They charge you $50 for an OEM battery that can't even work!
Warranty is only 3 weeks!
Then when they pry open your phone like opening a tin can!
huge diff as u wont know 3rd party use generic or original batt.
just go apple store. if anything goess wrong, they won't run or say it's user fault.
even for those sets w/o apple care?
cause applecare extends 1 more yr to the default 1-yr warranty.
oh oh... lol...
Yes even for sets without warranty but do take note apple only covers bloated battery up to 2 years only. Means after 2 years they will not replace 1-1

do you have link to prove this 2 years warranty for those without the applecare+ ?
