i think its mainly due to management having the old mindset of refusing to change to the new market... thats why

they have higher operating costs compared to the other 2, you can tell by comparing the number of physical shops they have in total islandwide.

The new StarHub 50GB is interesting but their T&C quite misleading.

Means the speed is throttled after 50GB in total usage per month or after this 50GB package is used up?

E.g. I’m currently on 40GB/$50 per month with unlimited weekend data. If I add on this plan, will the speed throttle after 50GB or 40+50GB which is 90GB of data?

Speed is throttled only after you finish the 50gb add on in addition to your existing data. So for your case, speed will be throttled after 90gb data.

Want to sign a new sim only line.

What is the most cost effective way?

Straight get Singtel Singtel 20GB + 150MIN for $20.00

Or sign a no contract line with singtel then swap to M1 for 15GB + 950MIN?

Please advise on the new line with registration fees and such.

As expected, M1 upped it's game since Starhub 50GB for $20.

Now m1 introduce 25GB for $5 add-on. Wah.
Mysim3 20, $20, 15GB +SAFRA 1GB + 25GB @ $5.
Total 41GB

Subscribers with existing 5GB for $5 mySIM Data Add-on may request to switch to 25GB for $5 mySIM Data Add-onThe subscriber’s existing 5GB for $5 mySIM Data Add-on will be automatically removed upon successful subscription of 25GB for $5 mySIM Data Add-on

how come they dun just offer unlimited data with a cap at limit, after certain usuage, instead of coming up with need plan.

Thanks for this wonderful news.

My friend called in to m1 last night and switched from $5 for 5GB to $5 for 25GB. Immediately his data went from 10GB to 30GB for mysim 3 20.
For $25 at 30GB, where to find.

So now those on mySIM50 pay $50 for 40GB(30 + 10).
mySIM20 is $20 (5 + 10) + $5 (25) = 40GB.

Pay half to get same amt of data:D

Sorry to those on mySIM50 contract. Pay 2x.
