I eat a lot of tofu
I have done some research. Tofu is low purine.
Soy milk ok
Looks like tau kwa, tau pok ok

Avoid dried shiitake mushrooms
Avoid seaweed
Avoid dried soya bean

When you google, red meat flags up. My research shows white meat chicken is on the same level as red meat. Would be interesting to hear everyone experience?

Yesterday for dinner I had Norwegian smoked salmon as starter and chicken as main course. Under 1 hour, tophi started to flag up. By 9, never experienced such intensity of pain.
I had some left over smoked salmon tonight. Nothing happened. Maybe I was on tablet.

Has anyone had immediate flag up after consuming forbidden foods?

What about nuts? Are all nuts equally bad? Is it ok to eat a handful of nuts?
