Just checking, is it possible for a foreigner who is still waiting for pass approval to sign up for SIM only plans or are they restricted to only prepaid until with a valid pass?

Hitting my 21 months on 1st March. Currently on the really shitty SingTep Combo 3 youth with Data Infinity x3 total damage about $75/month with only 11GB data.
Thinking if I should recontract to Combo XO and shunbian get a good subsidy for phone, or move to circles life?

If your phone is still working well, consider getting a SIM only plan. $20 for 20GB data for Singtel
Port to M1 Sim $20 for 15GB+ call ID + 800mins + autoroam....
See if $220 of saving next 4 months able to off set your SingTel penalty
The subsidy is ******** if you do a total calculation including your monthly fees.
Get sim only plans then buy the phone off carousell will be a cheaper bet in the long run.

good offer from M1... how does it stack up to circles life though
Like you said, Circle life is $28 for 20GB. If you port over now got $60 rebate which make it into ard $23 per month for 20GB.
M1 is $20 for 15GB.
But M1 have free 100 SMS but not circle life.
So diff is $3 for extra 5GB data. You think worth it or not?
Previously circle life was giving $120 cash back. End up you are paying only $18+ for 20GB, cheapest in town.
Actually if you have access to CIS, it is more value for money to sign up the mysim 70 instead of mysim40. Mysim70 they are offering 35% discount. With that, you are paying $45.50 vs the $36 for mysim40 after discounts. You pay $9.50 more per month (or $228 for the 2 years contract period) but you can get the phone at a lower cost and you get more data too.Wanna check with those with CIS knowledge.
I just came back from M1 shop, looking yo port over to mysim e 40, 24/mths contract with s10. But they say its now 10% across for all companies and dun have further subsidies for phones. So, $678 for s10 128gb is fixed with or w/o CIS?
He also say if i want s10, i shld PO then when collecting then apply CIS. Got such thing? If not, i wait till near end of mar and ask again.
