I am digging further into gout. It is said an alkaline diet is good and adding more vegetables in your diet.

I believe sugar is the biggest culprit and fructose glucose corn syrup or refined sugar is commonly used in chocolates, biscuits and soda or fruit drinks. I donít drink soda drinks but I do like biscuits or chocolates when I needed a quick solution to my hunger. I know apples or banana would be a better alternative. Are biscuits/chocolates very damaging even in small daily accumulating consumption?
