I’ll suggest the standard rounds halo, I’ve got a bunch of female friends gossiped about a women who gotten some pear or odd shape halo and everyone thinks it looks cheap lol.

The pear is it like a pear shaped diamond? Or halo is using the small pear diamonds? I saw some nice ones but using gemtones. It looked really good to me, but I'm not sure will it have that same nice effect for diamonds. mmmm

I’m of the view of a classic solitaire.
A halo is more a right hand ring for me. And definitely classic although I have seen some nice ‘flower’ clusters
Have a look at some actual pictures to see if u like the look

Flower clusters looks pretty. A concern I have is that the flower seems to be poking out and sharp looking. Am worried that it might easily scratch on to things and practical for daily wear. Which is why I'm leaning to the round/square combo with the round shape outline. That might be a safer choice.

I remember she posted something like 0.5.....but 0.5 looking like this on a 4.5 finger? I remember seeing 1.1 CT on a size 4 finger and i still find it not big enough but yours look not bad.

Never change diamond size. It’s 0.52 ct. But I think my finger size is actl smaller than 4.5. Maybe 3.5 or 4 will fit me better. Cos it’s kinda loose now. I think maybe .6 or .7 ct will look nicer on my finger though haha

Haha trust me, the longer u see, the smaller it gets. Initially I wanted to get for my partner 0.8, then I changed to 1, moved to 1.2, considering 1.5 now as I think the finger coverage is just about right at 1.5 🤣 (I’m a diamond lover, hence I’m more willing to spend)

Maybe consider a upgrade for next anniversary? Provided by then u still like diamond ring, because you might rather use the money for other stuff next year haha

Hi guys, looking to get an engagement ring but is very overwhelmed by all the information.

Do you guys recommend getting from Blue Nile? Saw 1-2 diamonds I like. not sure if I can post here to get help from you guys?

Thanks!

Think I'm gonna get one from Blue Nile too.
But no experience in all these diamond stuff lol. And my gf also doesn't know nuts.

Was looking at this diamond with the GIA report number 1315885999
With a simple 6 claw/prong ring.

Bascially when you get from blue nile, you probably won't get a good stone as you cant see the aset etc. Tbh I've seen for myself a bad stone and a good stone side by side. The difference is very big

Dude, your choice is almost throwing money down the drain.
A 0.23 E SI2 clarity stone with poor proportions.
It’s not even a triple ex .. mind sharing your budget? Under 1k?

Rather you just buy second hand Tiffany (0.25ct - 0.3ct), someone selling 1.5k on Carousell and it's platinum setting.

Here’s the stone. Not sure why u would go for E and SI2 but it looks included and frosted
If u can stretch your budget to $1200 (ring plus stone) I can help u do better online
