OP6T $800+ right? Out of budget :(

i rmb trying the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version for $670 ish on Qoo10? I think if you stack shopback + coupon + gift card can get slightly cheaper :s11:

Now got $50 coupon so maybe can stack to the low $600s

Anyone bought from newegg has experience with World EggSaver Standard or World EggSaver Express? Want to know who is handling the delivery for these. Thanks!

@bornerwave/coding senpais, anybody know how to setup or access API for SP wholesale market price (USEP) monitoring? Moi household switching and would be nice to have a Grafana-like dashboard to show price fluctuations.

i am no expert...if you need real time data, the only way is to crawl their website(not hard to curl and parse specific attributes you want in their html) if they don't provide APIs (RESTFUL or not). As for the ethics and legal parts of crawling, I am in no place no comment much, in fact I am also not sure, maybe @KWSW might know better. To me, if you 1 person crawl and can crash their web server, they can close down alr.

curling their website and pulling data out every 30min is almost no load lol... a simple cron job and some python scripts can parse the data for you

cURL should be built in to linux, in not, i think netcat should work

alternatively, they provide CSV downloading right, you can download and parse data everytime they update

I had this idea before i signed for tuas last time, but... i think the potential savings earned cannot offset a raspberry pi electricity consumption + effort needed? idk haha

Cheam leh why ask me lol... Haha I teach forensics and troll students not web app :p

On a serious note I did think of doing something similar before cos wanted some sample data to decide which retailer to switch to.

But when my parents wanted convenience, it was just pick which one cheaper and same bill.

Cant decide what to change to. Ryzen X series like make no sense since it's just an OC version of the non-X and since multi are unlock, buy a non-X and OC to X speed make more sense.

So 2600 or 2700? Price for a 2600 + mobo + memory = 2700 + mobo only.

Go for intel? 8700 or 9600K? Price for a 8700 + mobo sama sama like 2700 + mobo.

9600K like not really a good buy, or should i look at 9400F??

Already know what mobo to buy for both intel and AMD. Problem now is... cpu.

Wanna replace my 4770 for a more future proof rig. Basically next 5 yrs won't change.

I will take the 2700x instead. Cause of the pricing and if you are gaming at high resolution, you won't be bottleneck by cpu.

The x is a lot more better in terms of boost clocks, further testing shows, as long as you have good cooling, the chance for it to max out 4.1ghz is not difficult without overclocking. Use auto voltage, it is also power efficient than you manually tweak it.

Don't even need one. Just have a motherboard with Display port or HDMI 2.0 with AMD R3 2200G. For Intel you will need G5400.
