I am currently using a MacBook Air and has been contemplating to buy a Mac desktop because the screen size is really too small but I don't think that I will fully utilise the specs of a Mac desktop since I'm doing any designing. Does anyone have any options for this?

why not just get a 24" or bigger monitor with mouse and kb. Connect it to your macbook air and you'll have bigger screen + portability if required

Just get a mac mini and a big 27 inch monitor...

Simply buy a monitor that suits your needs?

Or you could buy a Mini + monitor of choice?
