Disregarding the higher clock speed and efficiency of newer generation CPU.
Just consider this,
33% increase of CPU cores but only 29% performance improvement in multicore, not really on par leh...

Will be interesting to see how much it throttles under sustained load.
Since Apple is well known for sacrificing cooling capability for aesthetics.
