ZenFone 6 is my best candidate for my next phone due to all the old school features it offers. If Asus SG don't want to bring it in then my next candidate will be K20 (Non Pro). Interested in non Pro instead of Pro because Snapdragon730 is powerful enough for me. The rest of the phone is pretty much the same.
I thought both the k20 and k20pro cameras spec are the same? Correct me if i'm wrong. Copy the below spec from androidauthority.com.
k20 pro
Main: 48MP, f/1.75, 0.8 microns, Sony IMX586
Ultra-wide: 13MP, f/2.4, 1.12 microns, 124.8 degree FOV
Telephoto: 8MP, f/2.4, 1.12 microns, 2x optical zoom
Front: 20MP, f/2.2, 0.8 microns Rear
K20
Main: 48MP, f/1.75, 0.8 microns, Sony IMX582
Ultra-wide: 13MP, f/2.4, 1.12 microns, 124.8 degree FOV
Telephoto: 8MP, f/2.4, 1.12 microns, 2x optical zoom
Front: 20MP, f/2.2, 0.8 microns
imx 582 DUN SUPPORT HARDWARE hdr.. and no 4k 60fps.. only 4k 30.. i might get the non pro k20 also if price is good.. another thing is non pro only support up to 18w charging... but giving the pro model 27w it also dun provide 27 watt charger only 18w
Should i get mi 9 or k20pro? What u take? Planning to use on tpg network
mi 9 doesn't really have any redeeming features by this point tbh, maybe just no moving parts for the front cam and arguably better design and build quality. personally I'd go for the k20pro for larger battery, no notch and cheaper price.
Both 48MP are of same specs, just that the IMX582 on K20 supports 30fps 4K recording because SD730 only support up to 30fps 4K too.I thought both the k20 and k20pro cameras spec are the same? Correct me if i'm wrong. Copy the below spec from androidauthority.com.

You are right. Now i having a 2nd thought coz my kid always use my hp to watch youtube.
One day if he accidentally drop it and camera refuse to pop out. That's it....
Yes that’s my concern hence I am F@@king tempted by k20 pro but I will still wait for k20 series to come out and mi9 to drop in price and get that as I am planning for 3-4 years of use from it and that from pop camera no matter how durable they said they only said they tested it in and out they never said they tested it in and out and drop how many times.
Don’t even need drop imagine you holding the phone with the front camera out you talking as you walk and you either bang the the phone on someone approaching or against a pole and that bend the camera and that’s it gone and becos is user negligence doesn’t cover under warranty.
The pop out camera got drop sensor.. Will retract..
Will retract from drop vertical movement but not from horizontal, also maybe not retail version but from the YouTube review the drop retraction not that fast
After I read on those rumors, seems like Redmi K20 and K20 Pro will be rebranded as Mi 9T, Poco F2 and F2 Lite.
