Many times when you look at the Youtube video the player looked good. But when he played after the 3rd or 4th game for Man Utd it doesn't look good. Can't perform to expectation. Fred, Depay, Sanchez are good examples.

Daniel James will join Manchester United on a staggering pay-hike.

The Daily Mail says Wales winger James is on the verge of becoming Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first summer signing after completing a medical on Thursday ahead of his £17million transfer.

And his switch from Swansea City will see the lightning wide man land a huge pay hike.

James will go from earning £4,000-a-week at Swansea, where he had one year left on his contract, to signing a long-term deal worth in the region of £67,000-a-week including bonuses. James' salary leap and terms reflect his new status.

It is also an indication of United's faith in the young flyer and the high hopes they have for the 21-year-old.

my maths very poor. can someone calculate how much of % of a pay increase did he get..?

Man Utd probably hoped he could be the next Bale with less injury problems. :s13:

I thought supposed to focus on signing defenders. Need to sign at least 2 defenders.

that's the problem, isn't it?
with a 400k at the top, everyone looks like cheap labor in the squad.
Eriksen is paid around 75k and Levy didn't want to give more.
actually 64k/week is relatively low in our bills. Look at our instagrammer PP and JL14. Getting paid how many times of that to focus on their clothing line? :s13:
