Got the 403-Forbidden message if post got smiley. Using Firefox browser.

Without smiley, post can go through.

Weird eh?

Another observation. I only get the message 403-Forbidden if I click on and select the smiley I want to use. Which is when the smiley actually appears in the post.

Otherwise, I can insert smileys if I do either steps:
i) Edit the post after it's posted. :D
ii) Type the "tag" of the smiley, e.g. :*s13*: :s13:

Why I now cannot even post a reply?

No smiley or URL also cannot. All 403 forbidden.

Try these steps:
  1. Before you log out, ensure you have your password and authentication method all ready.
  2. Log out of your account.
  3. Press Ctrl + F5
  4. Log in again.

If this doesn't work, you may have to manually delete the expired certificate from your browser's cache.

The 403 Forbidden problem has been going on and off for me, whether texts had smileys, url or not.

The recommended remedies did not work for my case.

O

After constructing a post, and after clicking "Submit Reply" or "Preview Post", I got the following:

I had to try many times in order to reply you in this thread too. Tried different browsers after clearing cache and etc but still the same.

Thanks for all the screenshots. We have tweaked the firewall settings to solve the 403 issue.

Continue to post here with the following details if you encounter it again. :D

1) Screenshot
2) Browser type (ie: firefox, chrome)
3) What are you doing when this happened? (ie: PM, reply with smiles, quote, etc)
