Thanks. :o Now I am clearer. :o Why waze and google point different direction one? :o I survey the google map and did see the exit sign cheras/kuantan but it leads me far far away to west direction. :o

ya this is the best way. dont try anything else.
after sungai besi toll you can ease yourself at petrol station b4 proceeding to cheras highway.

This will be helpful for my drive up. Thanks!!

Just hit NSHW all the way till u get to the Plaza Tol Sungai Besi @ KL
After Toll go straight look out for Petronas with Macdonalds. Go further a bit more and then look out for Kuantan/Cheras sign and exit
Go all the way straight till see Genting Highlands sign and exit
Thats all

Can’t choose carpet or not right?

If not wrong - all are Standard rooms in Tower 1 - all levels with carpet. But if u happened to book Deluxe then it's @ Tower 2...u hv to request at counter that u want only rooms at levels with carpet (old layout) or non-carpet (newly refurbished)...i was told most lower floors are newly refurbished without carpets. Eventually after completion of renovation - all Tower 2 rooms will be without carpet - i guess.

Then I likely be in Tower 1 since I book cheapest standard room. :o Worst suit? :o

For regulars it sounds simple, but for 1st timer it might be a bit tricky if not careful...just go slow after Sungai Besi toll, there are at least 3 exits/ slip-roads close to each other - abt 300m - 500m in between..dun make yr turn too early otherwise it might lead u to Ipoh etc...

after Sungai Besi toll just stop by petrol station to refuel, check back yr bearings and take opp to get reconfirmation fr ppl there...as mentioned by other bros, after toll keep to the left/ middle lane - look out for the Cheras exit signboard...go slow!

Too budget minded already...

Actually for those regulars - most of us felt there is no significant difference between standard (RM 60) vs deluxe (RM 70) in terms of size & layout..in fact personally i prefer Standard room - with carpet less noise fr upstairs compared to deluxe...

of course the online rate of RM10 difference means minus the free beverage pack, hot water kettle n mini fridge which i dun really use in those rare occasions i end up getting fwh...u can always use the hot/cold water dispenser outside near hallway.

Btw - both standard n deluxe comes with mini safety box in the room.

Kuantan is the town in state of Pahang & Genting Highlands oso in Pahang...Cheras is the more immediate area in KL tat u will pass thru enroute to Genting Highlands destination. After Cheras, u will pass thru Ampang as well...

The signboard will therefore indicate Cheras/ Kuantan... can't remember exactly other names/places stated on the same signboard....but Cheras definitely won't be wrong...as there are other routes going to Kuantan/ Genting...the via Cheras route is simpler route for 1st timer...

I won't go for standard only because sometimes in middle of night want to drink warm water and don't want to go out to corridor to get water. The long corridor......

You make it sound like the longest march.
