The recruitment team keeps tabs on lots of players across different age groups and run exhaustive analysis on them. This is to identify possible players to recruit.

Availability and transfer negotiations thereafter are difficult steps to maneuver. It's rarely like klopp wants a player and next day he turns up at melwood or anfield for unveiling. Lots of moving parts to align. As can be seen with fekir things can fall apart at the last moment.

In short LFC will go for the right player at the right price. Hopefully all goes well. The days of panic buying are over.

I am sure Klopp has a list of targets he want to buy, so that the selling club won't chop carrot on Liverpool. Unlike Manure or Real Madrid who has the habit of panic buying or buying the most hyped up player of the season and end up getting chop carrot.

Monitoring over a period of time reduces the chance of signing a player with poor temperament or has a ill-advised entourage of bad influences.

Consistency should be a hallmark of good players. As in difference between good and less good performances aren't day and night. Decision shouldn't be based on a match or a tournament. As they say class is permanent.

My only issue right now is how the national African teams and the African Football Associations treat their players.
And the worrying fact that players are forced to play in very poor conditions

The message from Philippe Coutinho's camp was crystal clear.

Asked about a potential Premier League return for the Barcelona misfit, Coutinho's agent, Kia Joorabchian, slung a forearm straight into the court of his client's former employers.

"It would be very difficult for Philippe to play for any of Liverpool ’s rivals, because he has such a great affinity towards Liverpool," said Joorabchian

Coutinho , who left the club for Barca in January 2018 for £142million, continues to be linked alongside Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and, of course, the Reds, with none of the trio giving a clear indication they want the attacking midfielder in their ranks.

Joorabchian, speaking on talkSPORT , was determined to get the message out that his client would relish a move before the August 8 transfer deadline.

"It would be very difficult for Philippe to play for any of Liverpool ’s rivals, because he has such a great affinity towards Liverpool," said Joorabchian.

"His time there was fantastic."

The future of the Brazil international has become a saga in its own right this summer transfer window, despite the absence of an obvious interest from any one particular club, not least of all, Liverpool.

'It would have to be Liverpool' - Philippe Coutinho's agent speaks out on possibility of Reds transfer

"Manchester United is a great club, I have players there and I have all the respect for them, but as far as Philippe goes it would be an extremely difficult to a near-impossible move," he said.

"Like all big players at some point, you want to experience a different thing in your career because your career is very short, but [his Anfield exit] has no reflection on the fact his heart and affinity is very much with Liverpool.

"Obviously if he were to move back [to the Premier League], it would have to be Liverpool, but at the moment I think it would be difficult and it would be up to them."

If his Barcelona career panned out better, his love and affinity for Liverpool would not be so strong.

Pros of having ****inho back:
1) Knows Liverpool way of playing Gpressing
2) Liverpool's center attacking woes are solved
3) Accustomed to EPL pace
4) The different between his selling price in Jan 2018 from Liverpool to Barsai and Jul 2019 in Barsai back to Liverpool, can be considered a loan move
5) The current Liverpool backbone of attacking trio are familiar with ****inho style of play
6) Have no problems sloting into 1st 11 immediately
7) He is at his peak now, although in a dip of form, given enough encouragement, he is a danger man again
8) The achievement without him around may inject him wih an adrenaline rush to help us push for the title in season 19/20

Cons of having ****inho back:
1) After 2 years, he may be "injured" in the back and wanna go elsewhere
2) After some times, his form may drop
3) Maybe he will miss sunny Spain after coming back
4) He may or may not fit in the fast pace of play, after slumping in Barsai.
5) He has attitude sometimes.

Coutinho dared to chut stunt the last time here because he was deemed our best player at that time. With the way Barca was playing their underhanded media tricks to bring Coutinho over, our hands were probably tied during the negotiations but I was really glad our club didn't give in that easily back then. Now that we have more talented players to boast, CL triumph, and with his dwindling form, we're in a much better position to negotiate. He also can't afford to have that sense of attitude anymore unless he wishes to destroy his career.

Coutinho is history. Prefer Liverpool not to have him back under any circumstances.

Agree.

The rumours of him coming back is to raise interest from other clubs. Now rumoured that Barca offering cash plus Coutinho and rakitic for neymar.

Barsai will not accept anything less than 100mil for coutinho. So its no go anyway
