Do you really need that many sata ports despite having m.2?

Currently i have 2 ssd and 2 hdd

Mostly due to last time bigger drive is expensive.
Will cut down the amount of disk by getting bigger one and use a m.2 as a boot drive

More of a want than a need i guess:=p

But if most other boards have at least 6 well this only have 4 doesnt seems right :(

Best is don't buy now, a lot problem with x570 mentioned on reddit and other forums. Got BSOD whea error thing also.. it usually only happens when temp too high or not enough voltage during OC. But if it happens out of the box indicating there might be some serious **** going on. Let the tide calm down, like the times during ryzen 1000.

We are all guinea pig... did not expect so much SHxxTs from a CPU 2yrs in e makings..

BSOD Ryzen 3000, black screens on Rx5700 are peanuts.
Read a few complains of 3900x bricking on AGESA 1.0.0.2.
It will NEVER post, after OC to ~1.48v. This CPU has 2 chiplets, idle at ~1.47v (observed) and if really want to manual OC, better dont do it on stock fans.

Now amazon R7 2700x is 200usd, same price point as R5 3600. In a dilemma which to get as there isn't a clear winner with an even price point.

FYI, AMD has not been running 3000Mhz. So either you go from 2933Mhz to 3200Mhz.

Going from 3200Mhz to 3733Mhz the results gets diminishing returns.

Refer to AMD recommendations. You are more likely to get best results for 3600Mhz.

With that said, if you have tighter timing such as CL14 3200Mhz, it will provide the same bandwidth as 3600Mhz CL16.

Went from an i5 3330 and 1300mhz ddr3 to a ryzen 2600x, b350 ram and 16gb 3200mhz ddr4 ram.

Have yet to test in gaming, but this upgrade is overdue.

Is the cpu cooler of 3700X noisy when load as compare to CM212 cooler?

CM212 will be a better cooler though.

Noise is a bit higher on the CM212 instead. Cause the fans are bigger, and also it can push a certain amount of air through. The performance of it will be better as it is also a bigger cooler in general.

As for the stock cooler, it doesnt really perform better than the CM212. But its quieter.

So in all it really depends on what you really want. Quiet or performance?
