gimmicky.

using Pri sch maths:

put 300K for 3 months they give 1.68% and pair of buffet voucher.

= 1260 + pair of buffet voucher.

put the same 300k for 3 months in any 2% savings rate

= 1500

means pair of buffet voucher = 240. listed price = 168

wa...120 per pax buffet. eat robster meh? :s13:

haha, yeah, need to create another acct with $500 to lock in the fund.. well if not so significant, i think still good to place with May Bank la, cos it gives 2% with $500 saving acct,w hy not? Unless there are better banks offer higher than 2%...

maybank savings account got 2% meh? just asked them the lady said 0.1875% nia

Two separate promos. If you didn't have a iSavvy Savings Account before, and you open a new one, you can get base and bonus interest of 2% pa. However, to get that rate, the minimum is $10k, not $500, and it only lasts till end of this month.

The other promo is the fixed deposit for 2.10% pa (9 months) or 2.22% (12 months) together with a Maybank current or savings account of 10% of the placed fixed deposit. But iSavvy Savings Account is not one of these eligible current or savings accounts.

I just placed max SDIC coverage amt yesterday.
They had revised it from 1.9 to 1.88 from 6 Aug onwards :-(
But i asked nicely and they gave me 1.9 :)

May I know which branch did you go? I have not heard much about this sing investment and finance.. But I think should be okay if I don't put more than the insured amount by SDIC? :X

My ICBC FD just matured.. Pop by the bank today to withdraw the interests and ICBC is offering 1.9% rates for renewing the FD (via e banking), so I'm gonna renew my FD with ICBC.
