The ballistix sports is a good and cheap kit. I have the 32gb kit, dual rank 16gbx2 kit micron E-die and I can do 3800mhz on the my asrock ab350itx board with the 3700X with 1t, 1:1 ratio on agesa 1.0.03abb bios ver 6.0, manual ram timings with soc at 1.1V and 1.45V ddr4 voltage. Asrock have yet to release the abba bios, so have yet to try that. This is without load line calibration since that is missing for my old board, so actual voltage is slightly lower with vdroop. Though it is still board, CPU and bios dependent with silicon lottery playing a part.

Yes, mine with slightly different primary, secondary and tertiary timings with slightly better latency. You should also enable SOC uncore with MCLK=UCLK=FCLK to get better L1/L2/L3 cache bandwith and slightly better L3 latency. Overall a snappy system. Not fully tested though.=:p

Tomshardware's ryzen best memory settings article is worth a read, comparing ram frequency, latency, ranks...etc.

.. gg the bios make my mobo can't boot into windows.

need to restart to get out of cold boot

also if you are using Gigabyte MB had better avoid the new BIOS. my B450 AORUS PRO WIFI is stable with F42a, but after upgrade to the F42c, got lots of memory error during memTest with same settings.

Everything at default/stock except for the RAM stuff and using vDIMM 1.375V for now.

Also think that Micron E RAM is simply the best deal presently.

Ballistix sport LE? I am using same one, but 16GBx2. it can run 1866(3733MHz) CL16, here is my parameter:
CL 16, RCD_RD 20, RCD_WR 19, RP 18, RAS 38, RC 82, WR 26, RRDS 6, RFC 653, RFC2 485, RFC4 299, FAW 28
others all auto.
vDIMM I set to 1.38v, but my Gigabyte MB seems will add extra 0.02v, as I can see in hwInfo it's 1.40v

I want max download speed and minimum latency :s13:

Some B450 has more usb slots and m2 slots and built-in led features ,etc .Not all the same.

I also considering MSI B450 Mortar but non max version seems cheaper and practically the same...

need to ownself update BIOs to support latest ryzen CPU right?

The Mortar Max has a Ryzen 3000 ready BIOS. The Mortar probably needs a BIOS update.
