70m a year it seems
this could accelerate Adidas to act on the clause to reduce money for United
nike don't think they want. they are now interested in sponsoring pool for next season after ucl win and is fighting legal battle with new balance.

for us maybe new balance, under armour, puma or umbro.

don't wanna be taking comfort of our poor performances/bad results by looking at other teams' bad results
eventually the tendency to accept mediocrity will creep in
look at spuds.

that aside, another bad display. how long is this gna keep up. no drive no invention.

These brands want us, but we probably won't want them, not BRANDED enough given our status

if adidas drop us then i think we will want them. we should be glad they want us. our status now is mid table team. we are having trouble getting to top 6 no need to mention top 4 or challenging for title.

yup am not. just didn't think it was right to make sweeping/half truth statements like how the tabloids are.

What status? we've been mediocre for 6 years.

even when we finished 6th, it's still the highest selling football jerseys in the world.

until that stops, the brand will still attract the top sponsors.

it's a money making machine.

So they can afford to pick and choose, not everyone will wear a lesser known brand like NB or umbro.. just go look factory outlets and who's queuing at which shops you know which are the sports apparel giants..

Some promise, but same old.
When your senior players can't make the chances count, it's frustrating to watch.
I actually prefer seeing TahithC on the right - simply because AaronWB offers next to nothing going forward. Defensively, he's a rock, just that he morphs into a stone when he goes into the opponent half.
Considering we lost to League Two opponents before (even with a half decent team), I wouldn't take any league cup result too seriously.
Credit to Rochdale for being very very organised. I don't see us being so organised when we don't have the ball. Basics.
Their scorer is a big fish only because he's in a small pond. IF he was in United, he'd be just another decent youngster. Our marking for that goal was non-existent. It wasn't even a whipped in cross that nobody could react to. High looping ball with extra seconds for someone to do something about it but no one did.
