hahah.... even the company went down, ur cam still can use as long is not the cam issue :p

The problem is u ppl connect to their network rather than ur own.
So if their ddns down, all down. Actually is still up when u access from home internet.

I using wanscam, which is similar to sineoji. The person no longer sponsor ddns.

All these can be work around but need to do some setting on ur router & cam in order to access your router aka cam from outside IP.

I guess u referring to port forwarding and viewing the live video via a browser. Most ip cam uses flash on a browser

With browser ending their support for flash next year. I am quite concern .......

Hi guys, I'm looking for an IP Camera where its possible to record footage and zoom in.

Basically it will be mounted on the ceiling, and needs to be able to zoom in to read words on a computer screen.

Any recommendations? Thanks

Sineoji still can’t stream... see the app also so cui if I have known would not have gotten it. Compared it to Xiaomi, the latter is definitely more better.

I was using 4G Singtel to stream. I tried home wifi M1 then it works. So no idea what’s up with their connection to Singtel. Anyway just a heads up if you are planning to purchase :)

Is something to do with your router and setup on IP camera

Need some technical skill here..
Nothing to do with m1 or singTel

Ur ip cam is connect to your home router right...?

google on port forward and ddns.
Diff router brand had their own setting.
U need to tell ur router to allow outside network (not home direct or wifi) or etc u had to use Sineoji ddns.

I think the rules are already set to allow else I won’t be able to connect in the first place? Besides allowing the connection is there any other settings I can change?

I am only facing this issue intermittently like the rest of the folks you have quoted earlier. The issue usually resolve by itself after a few days later.

Thanks!

Cameras are in office.

Connecting via 4G is problematic.

Edit: after much trying one of them managed to connect.

First, power up your cam, without any lan cable attached to the cam, you must hear a continuous alarm. If you don't hear that, reset the cam by inserting a pin at the base of the cam where the reset hole is, press it until you hear a music, release the pin. Cam will restart, and wait for the continuous alarm .

Have your android or iPhone connected to your wifi using the 2.4 band, not the 5G.

Next open the sineoji app.
Hit the + icon
Tap on the one key
Enter your wifi password ( check the said shown there is the 2.4 band)
Click start
After 60s, the camera ID is shown
Tap on the camera ID and enter the default cam password.
Click Save.

The cam was working fine, just occasionally offline where I just need to power off and on again.
Recently, I change my Router’s name and did the above method but can’t seems to detect the Cam Sineoji PT713V.
I am using iPhone XS Max and iOS 13.1.2.
Anyone can help?

Thanks for the reminder on ipcam viewer !

Not being able to view on browser is really a deal breaker. I check on the cam quite frequently. It’s more discrete to view it on laptop. Not nice to be seen always on the phone
