"...United didn’t have a shot on target all game and never looked like threatening the Alkmaar goalkeeper, yet Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was ‘very happy’ with his sides showing.

“I’m very happy with the boys, we’ve come away with a good performance. It should have been three points, a nailed on penalty. You can’t even discuss it. Good performance against a good opponent on a very bad surface,” he said after failing to win away from home for the tenth time in a row."

Pre match interview ~ Solskjær: "Apart from that there’s been margins, Arsenal we should have had a penalty for handball, on [Thursday] we should have had a penalty, there’s things working against you but it will turn."

Guys.. seems like we're playing for penalty nowadays and it will be the match decider for most games moving on. And when we don't get awarded, OGS can use it as an excuse for not nicking it! After which he'd be extremely pleased with the boys, delighted with their performance, nothing wrong with their desire and effort, put in a good shift, doing what we can, we will be successful
