Does HDB deliver BTO ahead of estimated delivery date?

If it stated Estimated Delivery Possesion Date to be say July 2024 to Oct 2024, does it usually deliver before that or it will usually be within this date range? Anybody knows?

Usually, they are 6-9 months early.

It depends on the complexities of the project.

Sometimes they are early by 3-6 months or even longer.

If the HDB contractor choose to take it slowly due to other projects, then you may not get the keys too early. My friend only got the key 1 month earlier than scheduled.

You have to pay maintenance earlier if you get the key earlier. And have to put up with more dust and noise pollution as people are still renovating. Of course, you get to stay earlier and save on rentals too.

Based on past experiences from other BTO, it's about 6 months before the estimated quarter. But can be exact quarter too.
