They reject me after medical just around two weeks ): disappointed

Don’t give up! Keep trying! :) if I could give any advice maybe you can seek a second opinion on your medical. Though it may be out of your pocket money but gives you a peace of mind if there may be any medical conditions that should concern you since they don’t reveal to us what’s wrong. Then apply again as soon as you can!

I was diagnosed “sweaty palms” by the doctor during medical and said chances are slim as I won’t be allowed to hold fire arms. I did went for specialist opinion after being rejected and was told it wouldn’t affect my job as a police officer. So I kept trying then.

But yeah you can go have a full Med check up just to be sure :)

Did you have any past criminal record? Perhaps you didnt pass the security clearance screening? Do you have a degree before applying for DEI? These are just some questions but TBH only SPF knows why they rejected you.

Or perhaps, from the first time you have gotten rejection till the second application. What have you done/changed/improved on in your resume or work experience that is relevant to SPF that would entice them to hire you? Remember that it is your obligation to convince any organisation to hire you.

Thanks for the tip!
I didn’t even got the chance to go for an interview. Both applications turned out unsuccessful.

How long did they take to update your application status to "unsuccessful"?

Hey guys, I have just received email that i was rejected. It took about 43 days for the response to come after my medical. I would definitely want to try again. Is it advisable to re apply immediately or wait for a buffer period before applying again?

Think about If there is any change in your circumstances that will make them change their decision.

If there isn’t, why would they reject you and suddenly accept you again?

6 months later i can increase my BMI right? Put on an extra few kilos perhaps....

So if you think it’s due to your BMI, then you can’t increase your BMI overnight, so you will know when to apply already right? You answered your own qns
