In your lifetime, u can take money from govt only twice.
My suggestion would be after 1st BTO, 2nd property shud be BTO again or EC. But with EC at crazy prices now, I would recommend 2nd property as BTO.
3rd property, u would have reap enough gains to move into resale EC or new condo I guess

30 yo apply bto
33 yo collect key for bto
38 yo bto mop, then apply 2nd bto
41 yo sell 1st BTO and collect key for 2nd bto
46 yo 2nd bto mop.
46 yo quite old liao, can only loan to 65 yo, so max loan tenure will be 19 years. Of course the max loan age may change since retirement age increase.
30 to 46 is 16 years to get two moves and both are HDB
in that time, someone else will have done at least 4 private moves.
