Hmmm poison-type grunts now give Venonat, which needs 3000 stardust to purify....

I need to find another grunt to battle for a lower-cost pokemon to purify.

Flying type always give me Zubat. Sometimes crobat.

Ratata harder because normal can be quite a few mons. I got consecutively 2 porygon:mad:

Yah... just now I tried Normal-type grunt... gotten Porygon too, also 3000 stardust.

Anyway, I just aim to do finish rocket battles today, so that can trigger the stage two of the quest, since stage two has a "spin pokestops 5 days in a row", so that is the bottleneck and got to trigger it early and end early.

Finished 2 rocket battles, one more to go.

The map doesn't tell what type it is. So still quite useless.

It does give what type of pokemon the grunt is using, so that counters can be prepared. But yes, we still do not know what pokemon will be given as the shadow one to catch.

How to take down rocket team leaders

Aldo : Use 2 Dialga (both DB, Darcometeo), D9 (DB, Dragon claw or Outrage)

Sierra : Use Machamp (Counter, DP), Mewtwo (Shadowball), Latios (DB, DC)

Cliff : Use Dialga (DB, Darcometeo), 2 Latios (both DB, DC)

Trainer Tips Nic used Machamp and 2 dark Tyra against Sierra but his Sierra used Hypno instead of Sableye

Looks like can stick to Flying-type grunts, as they consistently give out Zubat which only costs 1000 stardust to purify.

And they are not hard to bring down.... either a SmackDown Tyranitar, or Rampardos, plus a ice-type to cover Dragonite and a Electric-type to cover Gyarados.

I do have a collection of shadow mons that after purification will be hundo or near hundo

Cos a bit more SD but think I'll purify them instead of looking for bats etc

Fought Rocket Leader Cliff one time for both main and 2nd account

His mons : Meow, Flygon, Tottera

Using level 30.5 Dialga with DB and D.M x2. D9 with DB and DC for main account(max), Outrage for 2nd account (level 39)

Managed to win both one try but came really close

Got no Unova stone and no shiny Meow though

Tomorrow will try Also or Sierra

Do you guys think it's worth it to buy a 2nd charge move (outrage) for a hundo max D9 with legacy DB and DC movesets ?

Useful in fighting grunts and pvp ?

Seems more like: for 5 consecutive days, spin at least 1 Pokestop. 'cos I just got a second bar after spinning a completely different Pokestop.

Tried Aldo with Schyter, Crobat, Scizor

So far cannot defeat it

Need to pump up my mons beyond level 30 to achieve that ?
