can but the diff in water temp is something that you may want to take note of.

what I will do is I get a big plastic container.
put all the goldfish there with old tank water.
drain out whatever water vol you want.
top up with tap water.
dose anti chlorine.
wait a while for the tap water temp to equalize with the plastic container water.
release the fish back into the tank.

Any idea on how to produce top quality water for betta?

Is it best to Aerate tap water in 1.5L water bottles for minimum 3 days, then add aquarium salt and SeaChem Prime, then water change only maximum 30% of water daily?

Each betta got about 1.3L of water, got filter

I always do 20% water change daily. So far all my betta v active Swimming around and greedy too

Depends on how seasoned the fishes are

If you really want to do
Start small percentage of changes and pour anti chlorine in a few intervals . And slowly increase the amount of water changes along a few months

But haven’t said all this , once the water from tap got issue means gg might happen

If you want high grade fire red go madshrimp or green chapter. Normal can get from 328. Seaview at Sembawang they have sale packed in 5 or 10.
