Anyone face the problem after fresh installed the Win 10 Pro , under NetWork File sharing after you enable this function (Auto discovery) , the computer still failed to detect our Users connected to the same NetWork ?

Thanks in advance for answering.

Control Panel - Program - Programs and feature - Turn Windows feature on or off - Tick/turn on SMB 1.0/CIFS file sharing support

reboot and that should fix your issue.

If your Win10 is updated from 1511, 1703, 1803 & 1809, the above feature is already enabled.

If fresh install using 1903 & 1909, it is disable.

The Computer Browser service relies on the SMBv1 protocol to populate the Windows Explorer Network node (also known as "Network Neighborhood"). Microsoft officially disabled SMBv1 protocol with the Fall Creators Update due to the WanaCry Attack.

You can google the internet for more information

Is there problem with WD MyBookLive Network detection in Win 10 Pro?

Seem like playing hide and seek , sometimes can detect and sometimes just no where to be found.

Talking about ext portable HD, notice the front of the USB connector not able to provide the power to it. Only from behind the board USB no issue.
