Hi friends! I'm looking on some recommendations on where I can get these parts at a cheaper cost! Will the SITEX show be worth visiting to source for any of these parts?

Are any of these parts overkill? I did some price comparison and here's what I have came up with.

Case: NZXT H500 - $110 Dynacore
MB + CPU: MSI B450 Gaming PRO Carbon AC with Ryzen 5 3600 - $450 Dynacore
GPU: ZOTAC GTX 1660 SUPER 6GB TWIN FAN - $318 Lazada
RAM: G.SKILL TRIDENT Z NEO 3200MHZ CL16 (8GBx2pcs ) - $130 Amazon
SSD: Samsung 970 evo SSD 1TB M.2 NVMe - $220 Amazon
PSU: CM MWE 650W 80+ GOLD PSU - $125 Dynacore
CPU Cooling: NZXT X52 - $178 Dynacore
OS: Windows 10 Pro - Reddit
Light: DeepCool RGB 200EX LED Strip Kit (DP-LED-RGB200EX)
Fans: Corsair LL120 - 130?
--------
Total $1,676

Might swap out the SSD to ADATA SX8200 PRO 512GB with HDD WD Blue 1TB to save some cost.

Any help will be much appreciated! :s22:

I think buying online should save you more rather than going to SITEX.

SSD: Can try transcend mte220s 1TB got it at $160 during 11.11
PSU: 550W will do

You should be able to get the ram locally with local warranty for around the same price. That would make your RMA easier if need to.

For your PSU i saw it in Lazada sold for 117.41 by Video-Pro Pte Ltd. Should be able to get in down to below 100 with relevant promo/bank vouchers

I dont know about the MSI B450 Gaming pro carbon, why not go for a Tomahawk MAX instead? The B450 Gaming pro may not be compatible with the Ryzen 3600 out of the box and had to be flashed first.

I did consider Thomahawk Max. But that means I’ll need to get an additional wifi adapter. And I read that the pro carbon on has got better audio as well. Or should I get an wifi adapter with thomahawk max instead? Is there any you would recommend? Thank you!

I bought my 3600 + gaming pro carbon from pc themes in early Oct. The board was already updated to support the ryzen 3000 series for me!

Is the cpu cooler a bit overkill for ryzen 3600:s11:

In my build I just buy budget air cooler.

If not in the hurry to build maybe you want to wait for 12.12 Lazada sale.

If not overclocking, use stock cooler is good enough

stock cooler can do the job but too noisy. according to my readings for 3600 any cooler around S$20 is good enough, you can buy one from taobao for about S$20 or just from local the S$50 212 cooler.

Are you living in the year 2000?

Unless he's driving an audiophile setup or doing professional sound mixing, the onboard audio is more than capable enough.
