i read several articles(including posts here) which recommended singaporeans to buy irish domciled etf, listed in LSE to reduce the tax burden as opposed to buying from US market.

i found that HKSE has SnP500 etf as well. Ive 2 questions .

1. since there is no withholding tax, why are people not advocating it ?

2. for counter 3140.HK , i noticed that the prices varies on different sites.

on vanguard's page , the last price was 2508.6034 HKD, while on yahoo finance and my trading platform, it is 23.5 HKD which is sgd440.87 vs sgd 4.13.

it is pretty odd for 1 share to be sgd4.13 while US market and LSE are in the hundreds.

Please help.
