Angry Why isn't the grassroots CNY dinner cancelled?

On 7 Feb, MOH raised 2019-nCoV to DORSCON Orange. MOE introduced precautionary measures including "Suspension of large group activities, such as assemblies, camps, mass celebrations".

On 8 Feb, Tanjong Pagar CC is planning to go ahead with the grassroots CNY dinner. They are still setting up as of noon, and it looks like it can host about >300 people.

It is well know that the asymptomatic period is up to 14 days, rendering normal temperature screening ineffective. The organiser of this event is irresponsible by putting the community it aims to serve in danger. It is election year, the government should try to win votes by demonstrating their timely concern for public health instead of hosting unnecessary dinners.
