Attended one Chap Goh Mei (15th day of CNY) Dinner before. Dishes include Lo Hei Yu Sang, mini Buddha Jumps over the Wall, a Fushion dish forgot the name, Bird Nest dessert etc. All were very nice and sumptious.

Don't forget to standby one or more Ang Bao to tip the waiter/waitress who serve you the Lo Hei with phrases of good fortune CNY wishes.

I am giving my tickets to my 2 sisters, if there are extra tickets, I will still give them away to my other family members because my games are more important than food. :s13:

I always prepare AngBao to the waiter/waitress when lao hei at restaurant.

Seems that when we are on a cruise, if any cfm cases (who were previous passengers) had sailed on the same cruise ship b4 falling ill once back in sg, we will still be quarantined inside ship for 14 days.

Wah meanin that we must not only pray that there are no new suspect cases when on board but also hoping that no new cfm cases in sg when we are still on the ship.

:(:(

Going for the dinner this Friday too. I have asked my agent to give me extra tickets if there are unclaimed tickets from those who cancel their trip or no show. ;)

Today is my 14th day since traveling with 1000+ PRC on 22 Jan cruise trip. phew~~~

Is the cruise packed today? Is the health check stringent?

I am going on Valentine day:)

Even it is checked before boarding. It does not means 100% safe. Read the news on Cruise that get into trouble near/at Japan?

In my opinion the quarantine in the ships in Japan and HK would not happen here in Singapore.

In Japan most of the quests are foreigners and to unload thousands of them on shore would overwhelm their quarantine facilities if they have such large facilities.

In HK 1600 guests out of 1800 are local. But to date the government do not have any policy regarding their on shore quarantine facilities. Hence the quests are left quarantine in the ship.

Singapore has a policy regarding on shore facilities, see the article below.

A total of 524 people were under quarantine in Singapore as of Sunday (Feb 2) night, said National Development Minister Lawrence Wong in Parliament on Monday.

Of those, 60 per cent or 302 people were under quarantine at home, while the remaining 222 were in government quarantine facilities (GQF), he said in a ministerial statement.
GQFs include government-linked chalets, university hostels and Singapore Armed Forces premises.

They are used to house people who have had close contact with confirmed cases of the virus and recent travellers from Hubei.

Outward Bound Singapore camps on Pulau Ubin to be used as quarantine facility
"Persons under quarantine are required to stay in their designated location at all times during the quarantine period," said Mr Wong. "They cannot physically interact with others living in the same premise."
Mr Wong said the quarantine and leave of absence (LOA) measures help to reduce the risk of community spread and protect Singaporeans from the spread of the virus.

For quarantine cases, Mr Wong said that authorities will assess whether the person should be quarantined at home or GQFs depending how suitable the home is.

"We would use video calls, phone calls and regular spot checks to ensure that they remain in their assigned quarantine location," he said.

"These are protocols that we have worked out through SARS and fine-tuned over the years."

Mr Wong added that there are severe penalties for non-compliance of the quarantine order, including fines or jail time.

I think we can feel better and enjoy our upcoming cruise better.

For balcony and below, yes only this 4 place, lido is buffet at pool deck level. World grill I think is outside lido, the other 2 is like fine dining restaurant one western one eastern.

I usually dine in dream palace restaurant for suite guest, once I wanted to try these place, my butler escort me in I see Long Q outside, so maybe need to book first? The app onboard seems can make booking

Beware that u can only dine once at each time slot, cuz they will scan ur card each time, so if u go lido for lunch and decided to pop by dining room at lunch slot again they will treat u as 2nd time dining and charge $15

And no room service, chargeable if you want

Btw north Bali is much further from the tourist area Kuta seminyak ubud, it will take a few hours to reach tourist attraction area, and with the volcano eruption recently, be caution and stay safe

Don't think our facilities can afford to hole 2 to 3 thousand person in one go.

I think is up to individual if you need to cancel..If they don't charge you any fee then is fine i guess.

For me if GD got case then another story.. Since no case in GD why panic? Better still lesser crowd hahaa.

Got live cases take mrt, taxi & buses does it mean we need to avoid all this transportation ? My office is at MBFC area and got a case here but we still need to come.

I saw there is now room service menu in the cabin.. only a few selections thou..

Never been better to cruise during this period:s13:
Embarkation and disembarkation smooth all the way.
Less people, less queue, more machines available and most importantly, many loose machines to catch.
Food are serve in more hygienic way, sanitizers available everywhere even when you play slot, the staff will come and offer it to you.

Enjoy your trip with only 1300 onboard, John. Imagine how free and easy with only 56 palace guests using the privilege facilities. Well, I am cancelling my Genting highland trip this week and switching to cruise instead. ;) Personally think that cruise ship is safer than Genting Highland and local IRs. Read the news this morning, case 43 is a RWS staff and he went to work on one day between 30Jan to 6Feb which I happened to be at RWS during that period too.

Returned from my Friday cruise yesterday. Never seen a Friday cruise with so many empty seats when the casino "kick starts" at 9:15PM.
The Lunar New Year Dinner was a disappointment to me, maybe I don't know how to appreciate fine dinning. I don't feel the food tasty. My agent given me many extra tickets to all my family members to join the dinner, we occupied 2 tables, yet there were still many empty tables.
Hit a few nice combinations from Cash Cove but fed the profits back to Cai Fu Lian Lian (CFLL). This trip, the Cash Cove machines have been kind to me but not CFLL.
