There’s an imbalance here..
$800 for 5.1??
I would suggest dropping Atmos and using a more simple 5.1 setup and get better speakers especially the sub.
$800 for a used AVR from 1-2 years ago. Then $800 for a used sub and some cheap satellites
Those basic subs are really not very good. You end up with a system that you won’t get the enveloping sound and end up spending more anyway
Or go to the Adelphi shops and ask them to build you a very basic system for $2000 around a good sub and centre. These two speakers play the most important role - see the stickies.
I have no desire to drop atmos. Nor a need to. if I start with 5.1 it's easy to add a couple of height speakers later. and I do not want to buy my system in pieces - probably from different manufacturers. I rather buy the speakers as a packages - knowing they all work together and tested.
