SQ ?
Scoot I doubt you can do that.

budget airline such as jetstar and scoot ...
if change date, need to pay the price diff + admin charges of $60 per pax (in jetstar case) ... in the end, you might end up paying much more than rebooking one new ticket ...

usually promo fares are non-refundable ...
unless mfa issue advisory , else hard to get refund ...

I'm not talking about refund. I asked to change date for my return flight, but cannot.
Now this situation, SIA management may be more flexible.

Just calculated. As long as your new two-way ticket is above $120, you will save money from changing ticket rather than booking new ticket.

Code:
Saving=NEW-(IF(NEW<OLD,0,NEW-OLD)+60*2)

my ticket is $150
if change date is $50 (price diff)+$60(change date)+$60(change date) = $170
total is $320
now book new ticket is $200 ...

book new tickets seems to be more worth ...

Yea, need to change date for both way so price add up is very high.
I think he mean, new ticket cost $200 but change cost is $170. Therefore, it's still cheaper to change than to buy new ticket.

Thanks Andrew. Using dede's example:

Change date = $150 (piad for old ticket) + 50 + 120 =$320
Buy new ticket = $150 (old ticket burnt) + 200 = $350

Btw, I submitted my Jetstar refund request, and this went to my mailbox.
We are assessing your request for a refund related to booking reference XXXXXX and we need some more information from you to proceed.

What should I prepare before talking to the team?

What should I do next?

I think can skip that $150, what spend already spend. So no point adding it.
What important is how much save! :D
