$230K with many goodies for first 50 bookings, sample car in show room, delivery in April.

This car will jet up the COE price for the small car category.

If it's Cat A at $230k, next LTA's move will be 1600cc, or power <97kW, or OMV <$x liao.

Is CAT A car, $230k is before all the goodie. Not nice for me to reveal the goodie here. Go and call up your sales at C&C.

Stock only comes in April. Still waiting LTA approval, if not approval then all deposit refund.

My guess is the sales jack up the price and give big discounts to entice buyers.

The final price should be near its competitors' (e.g. BMW and Lexus) net price.

The problem is turbo-charged cars need more maintenance and don't last as long as naturally aspirated cars.

If one can afford a 200+k car, why would they be interested on a 1.6l engine?? To save road tax?

Your argument not valid for E class. Coz the base models have been turbocharged for a decade, and supercharged the decade before :s13:
